Updated Blog

I have started a different blog called myplannerenvy.blogspot.com. I will post here from now on.

Why you wonder? Well, I wanted to have an email address and google profile linked to one blog only. I have had other blogs in the past and I had like 5 blogs linked to this google profile. This way, I am only dealing with one blog and all of my printables will be in one place. This blog was so new that I felt it was a good time to change before I had poured so much into it.

Thanks for your understanding and come and visit me at myplannerenvy.blogspot.com for more planner printables.

Event Banner Stickers

I'm back with some Event Banner Stickers. These are events that come up for me weekly or often. I made these to fit next to the column icons in the Studio L2e stamp sets and I went with pale Spring type colors for these stickers. They are .25 x 1.5 inches and will fit in any planner and also can be used as headers in the Erin Condren Life Planner. The font I used was My Own Topher downloaded from kevinandamanda.com.

Pictured is the Studio L2e Seasonal Plans - Spring stamp set. I love their planner stamps and use them pretty much exclusively to decorate my planner with. I will own them all someday :) I used the Bunny Ear column icons to decorate my planner this week as it is Easter this Sunday.

Here I cut on the light gray lines on the sticker sheet to make 4 sheets that are 4.75 x 3.5 inches to make them travel friendly. I will put them in the front pocket of my Websters Pages planner, so if something else comes up during the week, I can just peel the sticker I need and use it where I want.

Here is my planner decorated so far for this week. I cut off the front part of the Blog sticker and kept the Laundry and Plan Pages as they are. I also used the Work Out stamp from the List It stamp set from Studio L2e in this weeks pages.

Weekend Hearts Revisited

Last week I posted a free printable HERE. This week I am revisiting the free printable by changing it up a bit. I made the hearts all solid in different hues to match different color schemes in my weekly planner decorating. If you want to see how I use them and all other information about the inspiration behind them, click HERE. Thanks for stopping by.

Weekend Hearts Sticker

I saw this idea originally on MsWenduhh's blog. I thought they were so cute and such a great idea! But I don't have an Erin Condren Life Planner like she originally made them for. So for all of you who have Erin Condren Life Planners, go on over to her blog post linked HERE and download her cute stickers. Here is a picture of what hers look like: (Aren't they cute!)

Picture originally from post http://mswenduhh.blogspot.com/2014/12/vertical-hearts-weekend-dividers.html
I have a personal sized planner and they would be way too big for my pages...So I got the idea to shrink the design down in my Silhouette Studio software. I made an outline of her original design in the software and then filled the hearts in with different fill designs offered in the Silhouette software. They are about 3 inches tall and 1/2 inch wide. The font I used is called My Own Topher and I downloaded from kevinandamanda.com HERE. You can use any font you want in the Silhouette software, but I have a love affair with this font and I use it for everything!

Here is a picture of my planner pages for next week and how I chose to use the sticker on the page. Cute right? I will stamp and decorate the pages more this coming Sunday.
Here are the different stickers you can download:

I also put light grey boxes around each row of stickers for those of you who want to cut them down and not have them on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I hope you find these stickers useful and a fun way to decorate your planners! Here are the files:

Health and Wellness Stickers

Like every other person I know, I set a goal to be more healthy for 2015 and I joined the gym back in November in anticipation of the New Year's goal I set for myself every year. Well, up until recently I have had no drive or ambition to go to the gym.

Then I thought, why not make some stickers to help me out? So I started to look online for icons that would help. I stumbled upon glitzpaperco.wordpress.com on Pinterest and they have Health and Wellness printables HERE. They also have many other Lifestyle printable stickers HERE as well. They have Game Day, EC Daily Square Labels, Shopping, Sports, and Hydration sets too.

The way I use the Bathroom Scale stickers is I weigh myself every morning. Yep every morning. I wanted a spot on my weekly planning pages to be able to write my weight. (It's something I got into the habit of doing over the last year) Some people would disagree and say not to do it every day, but I like being able to look back over the month and see how different times of the month affected my weight and also to see how the things I ate affected my weight. I also find it helpful to record the time I weighed myself.

I use the Weight sticker to show when I am going to the gym and the Blank Clock sticker to show the time I am going, because it changes daily. I also use this for other events in my planner when I need a reminder of a specific time. The Meditation/Yoga sticker I use on the days I don't go to the gym. I use to be big into yoga and have gotten out of the habit, so this is a nice reminder to get back on track. (My lower back was so much happier when I was doing yoga daily)

I found these clip art icons on clker.com. The links are: WeightsBlank ClockBathroom Scale, and the Purple Grey Pink and Blue Meditation/Yoga icons. I have used these stickers for the last 3 months and they have worked out well for me. I hope you enjoy and that they work for you as well.

I have included a link for a pdf version and for all of you that have a Silhouette, a Studio 3 version as well. The picture above is a png screen shot of the pdf version. I have made these so that you can cut on the faint grey line to make them more portable. They measure out to be 4.5 x 3.5 and I keep mine in a photo case that I bought HERE from Michael's.

Planner Envy - My Obsession

I have struggled with the thoughts of starting a blog. Here are the facts: I don't know what I am doing when it comes to blogging (we all have to start somewhere right?), I'm not really well versed (I have read and re-read this post 50 times now, I swear!), and I don't like being judged (Something you have to worry about when putting yourself out on the internet). Wrestling with all of these emotions, I just said screw it...I'm doing it.

So with that out of the way, here is my planner history:

10 years or so ago, I had a compact Franklin Covey Planner that I loved. The pages were cute and functional, but I used it more as a wallet. That got a little bulky as a wallet for me and I switched to a regular wallet. Now fast forward to February 2014.

I really got into planners again after seeing a YouTube video on the Erin Condren Life Planner. I thought it was so cute and I loved the colors and the set up, but I didn't like the fact that it was coil bound. I wanted to be able to change and move things around to fit my life. Then I started looking on Pinterest for cute printables for a planner system like the Erin Condren system. I stumbled upon a printable planner set up from Jen at iheartorganizing. I saw in a post on her website that she used the M by Staples ARC system and ran right out and bought the system desktop punch. I started out with the 8 1/2 x 11 planner and soon realized that that planner was super heavy to carry around and I wanted to take mine with me everywhere as a daily planner. So I moved down to a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Junior (A5) planner. I loved this size...not too big, not too small. But then the discs were getting in the way. The more stuff I crammed in my planner, the bigger the discs had to be. So I started looking around for a different set up.

Then I found Filofax. I didn't want to invest in a leather bound planner if this was just a passing phase like my ARC system, so I got a Black A5 Domino on amazon.com (The Domino has the biggest rings in a Filofax that I could find). I loved this new planner. The rings weren't in the way was much as the ARC, so I wanted to invest in a leather planner. So I started looking for a leather A5 planner and stumbled upon Kikki K. I could buy a leather A5 planner for a fraction of the cost of a Filofax so bought the Large (A5) Lilac planner and now use this as my blog planner.

The whole time I was looking for a leather planner, I was looking for one in orange. The only one I found was a Filofax Original in Flouro Orange and I wasn't going to pay the price tag they wanted for it. Then I discovered the Color Crush Planner from Websters Pages in Caramel. The only problem was that it is Personal Size and all of my printables are for my A5 planner. So I ordered the planner kit from Cocoa Daisy because it was out of stock on Websters Pages website. The kit came with 5 dividers, a 2015 calendar, and a week on 2 pages set up that I have become accustomed to in my previous planners. I use this as my daily planner now.

So I have been on a quest for "Planner Nirvana" this past year. I am obsessed with Pinterest and finding printables and inserts for my planners. I have really been into stickers and decorating more than anything. In my searching Pinterest, I stumbled across mswenduhh's blog. I went to her blog and saw all of the cute stickers and pages she creates and I thought, I want to do what she does. She makes printables for herself and uploads them for others to use.

So that about sums it up. More to come in the future...
